Hello all!
I was wondering if anyone on here is suffering from adenomyosis? I was diagnosed with adenomyosis and fibroids a few weeks ago through an ultrasound which my gp recommended as a consequence of heavy and very painful periods.
While I have always had a bit of pain, this was easily controlled with a paracetamol and only lasted a day or two but for the last 9 months things started getting worse and worse, with my periods getting heavier and more painful - resulting in sleepless nights, nausea and vomiting. It seems that the ultimate treatment is a hysterectomy but this is not an option for me yet as I would still like to try to have kids (I am 33).
I would like to reach out to anyone else with this condition and hear of your experiences. Also have you had any treatment and has it worked?
How about changes in diet or exercise?
Finally has anyone had experience of going through ivf with this condition?
