Side effects of the pre-school booster ?

DD had the booster yesterday afternoon and was fine. However, she woke up today with a dodgy tummy, very loose motions (sorry!). I thought it was a one off clearout sort of thing (sorry again!) so wasn't too bothered, but she came to me about 15mins later showing me her knickers and a bit had 'sneaked out, mummy'. She otherwise fine (no stomach pain or other aches or rashes).

Obviously I'm keeping her at home today, but I just wondered if anyone else experienced this after the booster, or is it just a coincidence ?

Yes - exactly the same as your dd NdP - she had diarrhoea and a high temp - only lasted for about a day, maybe a day and a half.

Hope she's better soon.

The nurse didn't mention anything to DH (he took her for the jabs, I was in college), but she did give him a list of other side effects/things to look for.

Like I say, Huw, DD is utterly fine in herself she's just going rather more frequently ! Thanks for your reply

My DD was ok too in herself and couldn't understand why I was keeping her off, but she was sooo loose!. The nurse did mention that she could have similar symptoms as the first jab but as she was older, that she'd prob cope with it better.
