Period late, pregnancy test neg

I am on the BC patch so my period is very regular, I was due on on Monday morning but still no period. Had some period pains this morning - but no period - a very small spot but nothing else.

I took a test this afternoon and it was negative but i have been very good with changing my patch so no reason for me to be pregnant anyway.

Any ideas?

Either A) your period will arrive soon or B) it won't. It would be quite early for a pregnancy test to be positive on the first day of your missed period (although not impossible).
