Femmecup! Please help!!!

Oh my god, I am freaking out!
So I bought myself a femmecup lite, apparently designed to last 12 months for those who were unsure of whether to go all out and buy an expensive femmecup without knowing if it would be right for them.

Okay, so after a little bit of a struggle, I've got it in. However, now I am really freaked! I'm not sure if it has popped open but I think it has, it certainly feels round when I... Ahem, get up there.

It said on the leaflet that most women have to trim the stem at least a little but I can't feel it in. Does this mean it's too high?! I don't think I could manage it being much lower, I'm pretty sure it's just above my pubic bone. It's definitely above something hard!
Plus, it feels really fleshy up there, like I have to do a rummage to find the damn thing. Is this normal?! Is it meant to be so snug fitting?! It feels pretty tight up there but I've had two 9lb+ children so should it be tight???

I feel like I've reverted back to adolescence where I know nothing about my own body!! Sad
Please help, MN cup experts!!

Not pubic bone! I don't think. Oh my god I don't even know!! Pubic bone far too high I think.
The hard bit around the vagina? Does everybody else have one of these?! Now I'm panicking in case I've got this all wrong and I'm actually a massive freak! Although, the mw didn't say anything when I had my kids so I can't be that abnormal!! I don't know!! SadSad

Try not to panic Cake Worst case scenario is it leaks. Try to get it as low as is comfortable, maybe use a pad as backup, and just give it a go :)

Breathe! Smile

I have to push mine in past the hard bit before it pops open
Have a rummage and use a mirror if you need to, you won't break anything

Thanks ladies! I think it was fine!! I managed to get it out at least! I feel it was a successful first try if you discount the initial shock of it being in! Grin

Ha-ha... They are a bit freaky when you first try. After a couple of months, I came to the conclusion that if it's not uncomfortable and it doesn't leak, it's exactly where it ought to be. I'm not sure who gets to decide what shape of vagina is "normal"... Confused
