Hi
Has anyone ever had a reaction to tramadol? I've took it when needed in the past but due to current problems I was advised to take it regularly and after three tablets I've got itchy skin and feel quite breathless. I'm not going to take anymore but I'm actually scared to go to sleep cos everytime I start drifting it feels like my body is literally shutting down.....I know that sounds daft!
I am really drowsy and spaced out so could just be I'm exhausted?

I am regularly taking tramadol as waiting for surgery. The effects are not pleasant. Itchy skin , dry mouth, swollen tongue and generally feeling spaced out but balanced against the way they block the pain I would rather put up with the side effects rather than the agonizing painShock

Hi thought
Spoken to the hospital and they've advised against the tramadol. Going to try codeine instead. I didn't mind the itchy skin but the breathlessness really worried me!
