Swimming for KS2

Not sure if this is the right group etc.. my friends daughter has come to stay and she is eleven. She can not swim 25 meters and I was wondering if anyone knew about a scheme to get her swimming - I thought there might be free lessons or subsidised lessons to get her going as she starts secondary school?

phone your local leisure centre. ours is doing free summer intensives for year six

Cambridge - okay will do. As I understand the government are meant to be pushing all key stage 2 to be able to do this.
