I've been experiencing some serious itching down there for the past few weeks, and have been to the GUM clinic after a recommendation on here.
The nurse today said she could see waaaay too many of what she assumed to be strep b under the microscope, and prescribed amoxicillin. She's sent the sample off and is going to call me next week to follow up.
Am I right in thinking antibiotics are just a temporary fix? Not sure if I should take them if they are. I've even read they can make it worse! Anyone with any experience of this?
