Hair Shedding on the pill - anyone help?

Hi,

I've recently changed my pill because of a few side effects - weight gain, sun rash and increased hair loss.
Can anyone that has changed advise how long it will be before the hair loss stops? The weight has come off again and also I am not constantly itchy after sun exposure anymore.
However, the hair shedding is still going on - Help anyone?

Hi which pill are you on now? The progesterone only pills are linked to hair loss so if you have switched to one of those it can be the cause in some susceptible women. The only cure is to change to estrogen based ones.

I was on vilest but advised to avoid because of migraine but can't have progesterone pills as out family has a history of thinning hair in women so staying on vilest anyway!
