Is your leg swollen or inflamed? If it is you should get it checked out.

More salt? You probably already know everything there is to know about cramp. So to take your mind off it, what do you think of Clare Short not re-standing, or at least not as a Labour MP. Am leaving you to ponder this as it's bedtime here (4-week-old will prob need feeding a couple of times in the night, yawn).

Tonic water (gin optional) contains quinine which is good for cramp in legs. I expect you knew that if you are a long term sufferer, but if not, worth a try.

Poor you.

dh used to get cramp really badly but now he drinks a glass of water with a spoonful of glucose and a spoonful of salt dissolved in it every morning. Haven't heard him complain about cramp for months. Don't know if that's a help.

If you want a giggle read this. From a New Zealand friend who found it in an NZ paper (weird).

President Bush Honors Native Americans

President Bush was invited to address a major gathering of the American Indian Nation last weekend in Arizona. He spoke for almost an hour on his future plans for increasing every Native American's standard of living. He referred to his career as Governor of Texas, how he had signed, "YES," 1,237 times -- for every Indian issue that came to his desk for approval.

Although the President was vague on the details of his plan, he seemed most enthusiastic about his future ideas for helping his "red brothers." At the conclusion of his speech, the Tribes presented the President with a plaque inscribed with his new Indian name -- Walking Eagle. The proud President then departed in his motorcade, waving to the crowds.

A news reporter later inquired of the group of chiefs about how they came to select the new name given to the President. They explained that Walking Eagle is the name given to a bird so full of shit it can no longer fly.

Or do you know the Bush one about Brazilians?
