Dh has a bruise on his calf and although it's not painful it's uncomfortable if he applies pressure to it. It's about the size of a child's hand and he can't think where's it come from. He's says its dark in colour with a yellow edge

He's working away till Friday night so should I take him to the walk in centre on Saturday morning or a&e on the Friday night?

I am afraid that I can't really comment on whether or not it's a blood clot. However if you think it might be one you need to go to A&E as they will give you a blood test. I initially went to walk in and they sent me on to A&E as they couldn't help. They took it seriously and sadly it turned out to be one. I didn't have bruising but did have a sore calf. As far as am aware symptoms can vary.

Please don't delay if you are worried. I hope your DH is okay.
