Mirena Coil Help - can't feel the strings and been bleeding more than usual plus got thrush!

I have had the coil in for 5 months and have had intermittent bleeding but nothing heavy. On Sunday, Ihad really bad thrush and took the Canesten tablet but still have thrush and now have bleeding as well. Got pelvic pain and can't feel the strings although may be being paranoid....had this fitted by gynae consultant but will my doctor check it tomorrow if I go in?

The nurse checked for mine today so should be easily done.
