will try and cut to the chase, without being biased.

my 13 yr old DS due to fly to Egypt with his father mid august. DS fell 2 weeks ago, fractured radius and scaphoid, found out today after MRI last week he also has fractured ulna (all same arm/wrist)

has anyone heard of a scaphoid plaster being cut to fly? he has a new one being put on the day before he should fly.
TIA

Not an expert.

I have only seen it on TV when they have done that for someone returning tot he UK so it is possible.

How are you going to set up a hospital to reapply the plaster in Egypt?

I used to work in orthopaedics and we always told people they couldn't fly with a plaster. If you do it has to be split. Will the airline let you fly? What will happen with the plaster once he gets there?
