Any asthma sufferers take Fostair? Do you get side effects?

Hi, have posted on another thread about various symptoms including restless legs. Driving me INSANE. I came across something in the wee hours last night when I was googling saying inhaled steroids can cause restlessness. I wonder if this might be causing my restless legs. Anyone else have any experience of this? My asthma is good so I am reluctant to change but no sleep is bad - kept awake from 1.30 until 4am last night, twitching like mad.

I take symbicort, but I do get restless legs. Putting your feet in a bowl of cold (cold as you can cope with) water for 10 minutes will help the restlessness.
How are your iron levels? When mine dip the legs are much worse.

Hi thanks, yes I have tried the cold water trick. Works for a while but I still wake up in the night. Last night I tried not using the Fostair before I went to bed and I did sleep a lot better. I might try just using it in the mornings and see if my peak flow stays the same, if it gets worse then I'll go back to twice a day and see the nurse for a review. Thanks.
