Fluconazole 150mg question

i took it yesterday morning (capsule) for vaginal thrush.... last night i wanted to get a wire brush!! but today feeling ok-ish. How long does the capsule works??

The instructions say if no improvement in a week treat again- so you need to give it a few days.
