I take 150mg of levothyroxine daily following an op to remove my most of my thyroid three years ago. Back in March I had an op to remove my tonsils and another (what turned out to be) benign mass. Since this most recent op my thyroid symptoms seem to have got a lot worse again, feeling exhausted, hair falling out, really dry skin etc. Is it possible that this may have caused a change in the meds that I need or is it a case of waiting until things get back to normal? I know I can ask for a blood test again but just wondered if anyone had a similar experience and it sorted itself out?
