Hypocalcaemia

Blood tests have revealed I have this. Awaiting further tests.

Looking online I can't see an obvious cause, except perhaps vitamin D deficiency.

I've been breastfeeding for the last 16 months and I spoke to my gp about a vit D supplement a long time ago and was told there was no need (which seemed at odds with the NHS website advice).

Does anyone else have experience of this at all?

No but the GP is wrong and current advice is to take a supplement when bf (vit D deficient here)

Look it up on somewhere reputablesnd show the GP.
