Is cellulitis catching?

We have week end plans with my PiL, who are wanting to come to stay with us and we all go to watch The Tour de France (v sporty family, particularly cycling). Various other activities - school fair x 2; swimming lessons etc. PiL live 200 miles away and DC (5,2) are exited about seeing them.

Except MiL has got cellulitis and doesn't want to come if she might give it to the dc. Sensible, but everyone disappointed. Mil is on day 2 of a 10 day course of antibiotics.

Is it possible that MiL could pass on cellulitis? Or could she safely visit?

It will be perfectly safe ,it's not contagious .That said if its in her legs she should rest and not be standing / walking about too much .
