Wtf is wrong with my foot?

I have got a swollen ankle and heel. It's tight and a bit painful. I can walk on it perfectly well. I can find no trace of a bite or sting of any kind. What the hell have I done? Could it be a reaction to a plant? I did walk the dog through some long grass and brambles this morning. Never had anything like it. It looks like what old people get when they have water retention. I have a thick ankle. Blush

Plantar Fasciitis? My bil had it and sounds similar. But not so much swelling with that.

Ok thanks. I'll look it up. It just looks like I've been bitten, except I can't find a bite.

Hawthorn or blackthorn scratch? friend had one on her finger, it swelled up really caused alot of pain. Soaked it in tcp/warm water for a while, took some ibuprofen for the swelling.

Cellulitis?

AnonButRegular · 03/07/2014 19:52

Is it red op? Or warm?

Ilovemydogandmydoglovesme · 03/07/2014 19:57

It's not particularly red but it is warm.

Christ on a bike, I just knelt down, so I was sitting on my heels iyswim and I heard and felt the skin on my heel stretch and pop. Now the creases of skin have bubbles in them. Oh. My. Good. God.

Hmm, don't think I've got any of the cellulitis symptoms. Have taken an antihistamine anyway in case it's a reaction to something.

Talk about lurgy. Yuk.

The red bits either side are blisters where my shoe rubbed this morning. That's how I first noticed it. The white bits in the middle are the blisters I've just given myself from kneeling down.

You can see how swollen it is, it goes out instead of in!

Coo it's throbbing now.

tic bite? google pics.

Wellwellwell3holesintheground · 03/07/2014 20:21

My friend gets a weird kind of eczema on her feet that gives her huge blisters and pain and swelling.

Ilovemydogandmydoglovesme · 03/07/2014 21:17

Eewww hope it's not a tick bite.

I popped one of the blisters and it ran lots of clear liquid. It's like I've got water retention. Then I forgot about it. Then I went mooching round the kitchen making a cake. Then I noticed lots of little drops all over the floor. It's carried on running down my heel.

Bleurgh.

Not too bad thanks. Gone down a bit but I think that's because the liquid has been forced out through all the blisters. Kept it covered with plasters. Feel absolutely fine, no other symptoms at all. Very odd. I've got to go for a blood test next week so I'll mention it to the nurse and see what she thinks.

Have an overwhelming urge to pop the rest of the blisters but don't want a leaky foot for the rest of the day. Blush
