Does this sound like a possible DVT?

I was diagnosed some months ago with Factor V Leiden and Lipoprotein A after a round of fertility testing.
This morning I woke up and have this odd pain in my left leg. It almost feels like someone is squeezing my leg above the knee. It feels very heavy and almost like there is swelling in there. The leg is a bit cold, but in some places it is warm. If I bend my foot upward the pain gets worse at the knee.

I'm not at all a medical professional, but pain and swelling in legs would concern me as possibly being a sign of a blood clot, and I would get it checked out sharpish. I'm sure there are many other possibilities, but that's the worry I would have.

I ended up going in anyway. I was hesitant at first, because i had just been there last week about something else and did not want to look stupid if it were a false alarm. Decided in the end I would rather look stupid than be dead! :D
They did not find anything, but gave me heparin as a precaution. If I still have pain tomorrow they said I should come back.
