Post Laryngitis Voice Recover - Can Anything Help ??

I'm asking for DD, she's 11, though big enough for adult doses so figured posting her might be most use as I see adults with this more often than DCs

She's really fed up, she lost her voice to Laryngitis nearly 3 weeks ago, the bug & resulting chest infection have gone, but her voice just isn't coming back fast enough :(

Gap warned that it can take a month or more to recovery after the laryngitis clears, as it paralyses the vocal cords, but DD is really struggling, she has a party on Friday & really wants to be able to talk again for that :(

I'm doing everything I can think of, honey, ginger sweets to suck, friars basking steam inhalant - but noting helps

Any other ideas please ??
