I woke up yesterday morning with a large swelling on right side of my forehead, Shock as the day went on a little patch developed in the middle that looked like a bite. I took antihistamine but it didn't go down and my eyebrow started swelling so I went to Gp he have me 500mg fluoxcillin x 4 a day - got three into me yesterday and one this morning but have woken up and the swelling has spread down on to nose and a cross left side of forehead - unsure if I should just keep plodding with antibiotics or get it looked at - any advice ??

I'd get more medical advice if I were you as it's getting close to your airway now. I'm not a nurse btw but I'd still check it out.

Get it checked out, you may need some strong anti histamines.

Sounds horrid ,another vote here for going back for more medical advice . You have abs but maybe you should also have ,as fackinell has said strong antihistamines .

Go and see the GP asap, you've certainly had a reaction to being bitten.
