Period is one week early?!

Hi,
Just looking for a bit of advice. My periods are normally regular - 27 or 28 day cycle but for some reason this month it has put in an unexpected appearance - 21 days - one week early. Is this something I should be worried about? I have heard that sometimes cycles can vary a bit so just wondering if this is normal.
