Just don't youtube it. I've watched hip replacement clips and it's all a bit...rough.

I have known friends who have had them and said that they are so much better after that they are glad they had it done.

My dh had a hip replacement two years ago. It was the best thing he could of had done. You will be out of action for awhile and there are certain things you will have to stick too. The worst thing was trying to get those awful white stockings on when we had to change them. The OT came to our house to measure the height of the bed , toilet seat and the chair he would be using. Bed and chair was fine but they gave him an extra high toilet seat to fit over ours. I don't know if it's the same everywhere but dh had to have a clexane injection each day for 30 days ( to stop clots ) he has done really well and if people don't know him they would never know. He was back to work in twelve weeks. He had hip op on Thursday and came home on Saturday. Although my friend had same op and was in a day longer
