My gum has been itchy on and off. It doesn't look inflamed nor does it bleed. Anything I can do to stop the itch?

Sorry, title should say "Why is my gum so itchy?"

I am allergic to brazil nuts and kiwi fruit
The first signal that I have eaten them is itchy gums
Is there a pattern to your itching, could it be triggered by a food?

Allergy is my first thought, too. It's strawberry and cherry season, and lots of other stoned fruits. Also melons. All common allergens, and you can develop an allergy at any time.

Could be something entirely different mind you.

I get itchy roof of mouth when it's hayfever season. Not usually gums though. If it carries on see your dentist. Could it be oral thrush?

You must have developed hay fever. That is one of the symptoms I have in peak grass pollen season which is now.
