Breast lump ad mastitus

I have mastitus again 2nd time in a month, went to see GP today. She was more concerned about the lump near nipple. I thought it was part of mastitus but she said she wanted to see me again in a week when mastitus is cleared up to examine lump. Should I be worried?

hard not to be, isn't it? I have a lump I'm keeping an eye on (10 years now)they always check it with scans and mammograms etc and say it's ok but you never feel 100 percent sure about it. My mother died of breast cancer so I am at a risk.

Some people just have lumpy breasts apparently, that's what the specialist told me anyway so it needn't be anything to worry about.
