hand holding needed hard lump under arm

found it yesterday or day before,went to drs today she said come back in 2 weeks prob a gland.asked what I was worried about? said breast cancer doesn't start there.

any help or advice most welcome.trying not to worry.

I get lumps in my armpits regularly that are hormone related, they last a few days and then go away. Freaked me out first time I noticed.

Hopefully yours are similar and the doc think they'll be gone in a couple of weeks.

I had one in my armpit for a few days, it went away by itself. Probably a swollen lymph node because of an infection or something.

I had one years ago. I was run down at the time & it was just a swollen gland.

I had this after spending too long in an over hot hot tub. It's a thing that often happens after overheating apparently. It went away after a couple of weeks, but I was worried and saw the doctor at the time.
