We've had a very bad couple of nights. DS is 11mo, and he's never been a great eater. The last couple of days he won't eat anything.
Friday i was away for the afternoon, when i got in I nursed him and about half an hour later he started vomiting. We cleaned him (and me) up and he was fine. His mood was great he didn't have a fever or anything. But every once in a while he would be sick. Usually about a half hour after nursing. At one point I guess his little tummy was empty and he was dry heaving. The last vomit was around 10:30 that night. He didn't sleep great but wasn't sick again even though he nursed during the night.
Saturday he was fine he has some water, wouldn't eat. Nursed as usual. Mood was fine. Fell asleep ok. At 3:30am I was woken up by a wave of vomit. He was sick three times between 3:30 and 4:30 then went to sleep without nursing.
We think he's teething again (he's got 8 teeth already) and don't know if maybe that has something to do with the vomiting. Or if it's something he's eaten or a bug.
Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Poor wee thing! and poor You! Is he keeping anything down now? It sounds more like a tummy bug if he still isn't keeping fluids down I would contact the GP, if your worried contact out of hours GP. Hope you have a better night.

I am having exactly the same trouble! Been sick since first thing yesterday morning, just been covered in the last lot half an hour ago (half an hour after wanting milk for the first time all day). I have never done so much washing in my life. Plus 6 pooey nappies yesterday (4 while we were out). I've seen an emergency doctor and the verdict is that it was down to some antibiotics he's been having since Thursday for impetigo, so I stopped that last night but it's still going on! I am starting to feel sick myself but I'm hoping that is down to the constant smell of puke up my nose and not a bug! Does anyone have any tips for coping with this? Not helped by the fact that dh has been away for the weekend so I'm on my own with it...

I've been feeling kind of icky the last couple of days too so I wonder if it is a bug.
But i'm scared to go to bed tonight!
katyjo - He keeps things down during the day. and he kept a bit down at night.
