TMI question about mooncup use post-childbirth

I was going to name change but I CBA. My periods have recently returned after the birth of DS (my first) 7.5 months ago. First period I used my original mooncup and it was uncomfortable. Fair enough I thought, get the next size which is designed for post childbirth. Next period, still uncomfortable - so much so that I am using the maxi pads left over from when DS was born. Te mooncup seems to be sitting very low, sliding down and the bottom of the cup is digging in, for want of a better expression. The stem is completely trimmed off.

When the MW examined me immediately after birth she mentioned an "odematous skin flap" that I didn't really understand or question but, having a rummage around Blush I can feel a loose flap that must be what she was referring too. I had a normal vaginal birth with a second degree tear that was stitched and hasn't bothered me since. I wasn't in much discomfort for very long after DS was born.

I'm not sure if the discomfort is caused by this odematous skin flap, poor pelvic floor tone post-CB or something else that I should get checked out. Has anyone else had something similar?
