Hi please help/ all advice appreciated, having a bit of a panic. I saw my 3 year old touch a mushroom in a relatives garden, it was a wild one, small and grey/brown. I told her not to play with it or anything. Later after a wee I washed her hands, not very thoroughly though as I completely forgot about the mushroom. I'm now panicking after searching on the Internet and seeing that just touching them can kill you! I was completely ignorant of this. I knew not to eat them obviously, but now im panicking she didn't wash her hands thoroughly enough after. Is there any symptoms I should look out for or any steps to take? I had no idea they were that dangerous, feel very stupid now.

OP I would firstly calm down.

Generally garden mushrooms are harmless and will do her no harm. From your description that is what is sounds like.

Very few mushrooms can harm you if touched it is more if you ingest them and then it can just result in a bout of D & V.

She touched it she didn't eat it.
