I felt my upper arm sore the other day, and today i have the pain around my shoulder, and neck, and the top of my arm (between shoulder and elbow feels really uncomfortable. I can't lift my arm, even putting my hands on my hips hurts, and the slightest movement seems to make it worse. Any tips will heat or ice be better. I'm supposed to be doing housework, but its a good excuse not to. Also, meant to mention pins and needles feeling in arm as well

If it continues go get an x ray, I diplaced my shoulder blade and had very similar symptons - pins and needles can happen if nerves are getting squished (so I was told), take a couple of nurofen or other anti inflammatories and rest it and then see how it feels - if no better must see someone or you could make it worse! Do you know how you did it?

Haven't a clue how i did it, it could have been lifting my 3 and a 1/2 mindee onto his potty, he's very heavy. I'm not sure really. I've been alternating with heat and ice. I have quite strong painkillers for my fybromyalgia so took 2 of them, but this pain isn't like the pain i get with it IYKWIM.

Think you should go see your dr, or go to casualty for an xray if no better tomorrow, can sometimes be your back when your arm hurts, if you know a good sports dr/physio go to them - I was given shit loads of drugs for 3mths for my shoulder - got fed up with waiting around so went to a sports physio and I was fixed after 2 half hour sessions!!! He straightened me out too - had wonky hips apparently from always carrying dd on right one

Its funny you saying that about your hips. For years i have had a lot of joint/muscle pain which has been diagnosed as fybromyalgia. However the Rheumatlogist read in my notes that when i was pregnant with Dss they discovered i had a twisted pelvis, and she has referred me to physio/podiatrist etc as she thinks all the pain is coming from my wonky hips!
Now i think about it i did feel my back as well the other day, but i lift that 3 1/2 year old a lot so maybe i have hurt it that way
