Can't move toe after a break. Normal?

Last month I broke my big toe and had a cast on, which finally got removed yesterday. But I can't move my toe any better than I could when I first broke it. To be honest when the cast was removed I was expecting it to be xrayed again and see the doctor but the cast was removed, a nurse checked it and I was sent home. I mentioned at the time I couldn't move it and she said it would be stiff for a while (however long that is) but there's no improvement in it at all today. An I expecting too much too soon or am I stuck with a dodgy toe for the rest of my life?

A toe isn't the easiest of things to move at the best of times, however. Much easier to wiggle a finger, so to speak!
After I broke my leg last year, I couldn't move my toe at all. If you pressed it downwards, it flipped back up after a bit, but that was put down to the surgery I'd had - they might have nicked a nerve or something. Sorted itself out all on its own, however.

Sorry, not sure if this helps!
