Slipped disk with newborn

I wondered if anyone else had experienced a slipped disk after birth?
Looking to hear how they coped and what they went through. No idea what to expect and how long it takes to recover from as I am getting mixed messages.
I am BF so am limited on the drugs I can take. Though GP told me I couldn't take Diazepam while BF but after speaking to the Breast Feeding Network I found out I could take a low dose for a short period.
Thanks in advance for any advice, tips, shared experiences.

3 months on and an injection in my spine I am off crutches, but still using the pram for support when out. Still bent over and in pain but can pick up DS and carry him short distances.
Not was I envisaged as a first time mum. At least it is me not him who is unwell.

Hello cold, sorry but I missed your first post otherwise you would have already been warmly invites to the Back Support thread ( not that you need an invitation, we welcome all comers). Sounds as if you have made some progress so that's good.

You are definitely not alone with this. Jump on board although we've been a bit quieter than usual lately.
