UTI's and vaginal pain / burning

I would love to get some help here folks.

Background - I have suffered for 15 or so years with cystitis and urine infections, some that have turned into nasty kidney infections and I have had a few cystoscopy's and investigations. All drew a bit of a blank.

Two years ago I had a CT scan of my bladder and kidneys and my GP rang me to tell me the scan had showed air in my bladder, and they needed to find out how its getting there. I went to go for a cystoscopy but found out I was pregnant, so couldn't go ahead with surgery. I was told not to worry though and come back when baby was born. She is now 20 months old and I am waiting to be re-referred back. This last 6m my infections have been getting worse. symptoms include:

Burning and pain when peeing
Bladder spasms that are agony
Constant urethral burning
General burning sensation and pain in vagina - especially on posterior wall. I cant leave the toilet or bath because of it. This is a fairly new symptom which has got worse in the last year, I cant describe to you how hideous and torturous the feeling is. It is worse than any other pain I have experienced.

Ironically the majority of times my urine samples have been sent off they come back clear. My urine dipsticks usually show blood.

I started a course of antibiotics three days ago and I am still uncomfortable. I was given oramorph by the out of hours GP Monday, that's how bad it is. Nothing else helps with the pain.

I am going to see my usual GP Friday. I am really fed up and thinking there's more to this than I have thought in the past. I may only get one a month but they are so debilitating when I get them.

Has anyone experienced anything similar?

there must be some infection inside your vagina. Please visit some lady doctor she might help you.

I had similar issues for about two years. They eventually worked out I was allergic to condoms though so this probably doesn't apply to you. I had never been allergic before so it didn't occur to me. But I felt constantly as if I had a UTI. Sorry this is not much help, but could there be an allergy you haven't thought of?

I used to drink water with bicarbonate of soda in it to ease the symptoms and take A LOT of nurofen.
