The last few weeks I've been suffering with some severe abdominal pains. It's hard to explain exactly but it's a very tight feeling in my stomach. Like a fist clenching for a few seconds then releasing. So close to a contraction pain (I'm definitely not pregnant)! It will come from nowhere and can last on and off for hours. The pain is so intense that I can't talk. I automatically curl into a ball. Horrendous pain. I visited my GP who sent me for a full blood count. All that's showed up is that I'm suffering low iron levels so he has put me on ferrous fumarate 210mg. Also Tranexamic acid to redux blood loss when monthly comes. He is sending me for a scan to see if anything shows on that but said it could be 3-4 weeks before the appointment arrives. Anyone have any guess? A friend said maybe a fybroid. My kidneys liver etc all came back normal. I'm struggling xx
