hello - me again. you all gave me some fantastic advice about birthmarks a few weeks ago but now i have another worry. DD's strawberry has gone very pale which is great but from the bottom of her forehead above the nose to the bottom of her nose she now had red raised spots surrounding the strawberry. they don't seem to be bothering her during the day but i've noticed that when she wakes up it looks like she has been rubbing them.any ideas what this could be? had anyone else seen this around their childrens strawberrys?

Dunno if this helps spaniel. When my dd was first developing her strawberry mark at 2 weeks old it initially appeared as a cluster of small dark spots then melded together into one mark.I havent noticed it going paler though,or getting any more spots. My hv says that although the marks look alarming they have ususally disappeared by age 3 and are harmless. If you are concerned it may be worth contacting the hv.My dd is now 9 months and her strawberry (or raspberry as ds charmingly calls it) has grown with her iykwim,so maybe it is growing a bit???The hv says they usually stop growing at about a year.hth
