Vertigo back again! So fed up!

Had vertigo on and off for 3 years! Never been to dr as I've heard so many folk with similar but drs not able to do much! I've got a bout just now following swimming and am fed up with it. Is it worth seeing a dr. I've had a really bad day and feeling a bit swim my even just sitting here. Normally it's just when I turn over in bed or put my head back. Am concerned it's something a bit more sinister. Is it ever or just benign???

I've had it on and off for over 16 years although it has eased off a bit over the years. I have had stemitil tablets and various tests and everyone has lost interest. I would see your GP to see if he can suggest anything. A colleague had some sort of physiotherapy which worked for her.

Please see GP for a formal diagnosis

You might have plain old vertigo, or labyrinthitis, or menieres for eg

Some can be treated by meds, helped by a regime of supplements, by special physio called Epley Manoeuvre, etc
