Have had a crappy afternoon. Gave birth 9days ago (on the Monday). On the Friday Dh called out a Dr cos I was in so much pain. Dr diagnosed a kidney infection, gave me antibiotics and prescribed a scan.
Had scan today. Wasnt expecting much cos pain has reduced loads. Turns out the i may have had a slight kidney infection but I have blood clot in my ovarian vein.
Cue more scans (including an injection of something which means I have to stop BF for 48hrs) and racing off to a cardiologist for anticoagulants.
Im in a pretty bad place right now. Everyone is treating it so seriously, telling me i need to start injections right now and to go to A&E if I feel ill. I feel really overwhelmed with my newborn (who thankfully accepted a bottle no problem), my toddler who is struggling with the arrival of the baby and now this diagnosis which means I cant go out, have to rest, inject myself and get loads more scans done.
I cant work out if its really serious or just slightly serious and controllable or what. Hormones arent helping!
