Sedation or no sedation?

Experiences please!

I have had a lower one and had sedation but I felt really dizzy and sick after due to sedation( this was about 13 years ago)

So now I have to have an upper one and am debating what to do!

If it's into the stomach I had throat spray, no sedation, and would be prepared to do it that way again.

Feels invasive and all the equipment in your mouth isn't pleasant but it wasn't painful and the tube was in place for less than five mins,

Personally.. having had both.. I'd go with sedation again, but maybe I'm just a wimp :D

I'd go with sedation ,explain to everyone ( nurse ,doctor doing it ,anesthatist ) your sickness last time . That sounds out of the norm and hopefully 13 years on they can do something to avoid it .

By the way - tip I was given last time I had endo was to let the throat spray pool into your bottom palate and then swallow it .
