I've had sore breasts for a week maybe more now. Feel no lumps or bumps and the soreness seems to be behind my nipples. I did breastfeed but that was 2 ish yrs a go. Any idea what it could be?

Any chance you could be expecting?

That was my first thought too!

Do you need a new bra? I had aching boobs, and changing bras helped.

Raskova · 05/05/2014 08:12

I'm about 99.9999999 per cent sure there are no babies on the way. Though that was my only symptom last time I haven't had sex for a loooong time and I'm on the pill which I never forget.

All my bras are the same style so I'll look into others. It doesn't stop after I've taken them off even if for a while. Hmm

It might be hormone changes - I'm approaching a birthday with a zero on the end and everything is going haywire. See the GP to settle your own mind.

Thinking about it it's been on and off for a while. Few months. Not this bad before tho.

I'm approaching a birthday with a 0 but it's just over three years off and it's only my third 0. I have got far too much grey hair tho. Maybe my body thinks it's a 0 or 2 up. Shock

I've had boob ache on and off for the past year, non cyclical. I've been to the drs a few times about it now and have been told to try oil of evening primrose as that apparently helps some women with breast pain, if it doesn't help then I will be referred to the breast clinic they are not overly concerned as no lumps and I'm young.

Sounds very similar to me! I'll have to investigate! Think I've seen it in Tesco!

I'm thinking it might be related to going to the gym without a sports bra tho as well. When I went yesterday it was worse. The bra I wear is about as effective as a sports bra (tho I wasn't wearing it yesterday) so will see if it makes it any better tonight Grin

Raskova I started on 1000mg of evening primrose oil last night an d I already have noticed an improvement! I've also stopped wearing under wired bras to see if that helps. I found some really good supportive non wired ones from marks and Spencer's.

Raskova · 07/05/2014 21:45

Oh god no! They're by my knees. I need all the support I can get Hmm

I'll try some next time I go to Tesco Grin
