Blue Nevus

Anyone had one of these? I've had one on my foot, just below and to the side of my ankle for about 4 years now. GP said to leave it alone as it wasn't bothering me. In the interim I've had two melanoma removed from my arm. Now the Blue Nevus has grown and is starting to hurt, particularly when I have shoes on. GP appointments are like hen's teeth so it will be a while before I can see anyone about it.

Any ideas about why it has suddenly changed? Thanks in advance.

I have one, which has never caused me much fuss, although it's on my side so not a particularly irritable area. I was told at the time completely harmless, though I am currently considering going back as mine isn't quite like it used to be, although I think it's mainly to do with having grown since it first developed as a child.

I'm afraid I do actually really know all that much about them! I would try and get a GP appointment.

Thanks. Will make an appointment. I can only really wear trainers or slippers without it hurting, I've had to resort to teaching with my shoes off some days which is not a good look.
