I gradually have got better with age but still get sick from time to time. I find travelling later in the day far preferable to early mornings. Will almost certainly chuck on morning journeys. Also far far worse in back of car. If they have to be in back, can they sit in the middle, so can see straight out of front rather than side windows which make it worse.
Will ponder any other tips, but in meantime feel really sorry for your dd. It is crap being car sick

my son's like that too! again..like "morethan1" said never sit at the back, never read and tell her to look at something far! let her eat something soar like soar sweets, i think that really help from wanting to vomit! i've noticed it gets worse when it's rainy or cloudy days!

Try a little bit of peppermint oil on a tissue and just wave it under her nose every so often - if your DD can stand it, it may help a bit.
