Hi everyone,
Right I was diagnosed with pcos about 7 months ago after having very random period and very heavy ones when I did have them after the birth of my son who is now 2 next week the doctor refered me for an ultra sound and that's when I found out I had pcos so I didn't have a period for 5 months then one day I started bleeding and thought this is my period then but it wasn't like my usual ones it was very random like one day it would be so bad all I had to do was move slightly and it would pour out of me then the next day it was nothing whilst I was bleeding I have really really big blood clots not to gross anyone out but one was like the size of 2 golf balls, I'm waiting for another ultra sound refered by the doctor but what are they going to look for again as I already have been diagnosed with pcos, in just really worried something serious is wrong with me!? Sorry for the long post any thoughts?

With the blood clots/heavy periods I'd imagine they're going to look at the lining of womb but that's just guess work on my part.

But what happens if it is my lining of the womb what can they do?

I know when I had a problem with very heavy periods they mentioned womb ablation (sp?) but ONLY if you're finished your family as it can damage the inside of the womb and stop a fertilised egg sticking there.
I never had it done nor any further treatment as it sorted itself out.
