Just got some swab result back from the GP today, as it seemed I had recurrent thrush. The results were negative for thursh but positive for staphylococcus but all my neurotic / curious googling really has very little to say about this infection when its in the nether region!! Weird... Anyone else had it? Just curious as to whether treatment was successful- I've been prescribed 500mg flucloxicillin every 6 hours for a week which seems quite strong but I'm not a medic so don't know. Anyway,just partly checking out I'm not the only woman on earth to have ever had this!! Symptoms were just like thrush butt with less discharge (I know you're wondering!)
