Sounds a bit silly i suppose but I've never had a tooth out before, i had a tooth out 4 hours ago the anesthetist has nearly worn off, just a little numb / Tingly i would love a cup of tea,, but I'm scared ( have no idea why) can i have a drink?? when can you eat?? obviously not on the side where I had my tooth out, any advice would be appreciated.

Use a straw itll hurt less (trust me on that one) but itll be ok to eat/drink once you can feel your face again and eat soft things that dont require chewing soup ice cream etc your mouth heals fast so be back to normal in a few days

Do drink but make sure that it isn't too hot. Didn't your dentist give you a set of written "instructions"?
