Odd Mark on skin

I have what looks like a love bite type mark on my tummy. It's definitely NOT a lovebite but it has been there for about 2 months now. It hadn't scabbed or crusted, doesn't itch and it's not as a result of a pinch or rubbing.

Any ideas?

Hot water bottle?
Tight belt?

Is it a reaction to the nickel on the fastening of your jeans? I get that sometimes if the metal button is pressing into me.

It looks a tiny bit similar, but only the colour. It has no centre as such - it really looks like a small mouth has given me a lovebite on my tummy wondering whether I could take a pic

And it's not spread, or there are no others.

I suggested a mark from a hot water bottle because I did it myself, once.

Not really looking like a burn, just a persistent red mark. It went eventually, but I must have had it for a good couple of months.
