Hi everyone,
I just need to start off by saying I suffer extreme hypochondria so please no scary stories! :)

I have pain in my knee, shin, ankle, foot and sometimes my thigh and calf.

I've had it checked over by a GP who says I've bruised my knee muscule. I am beyond paranoid of getting a DVT and can't get this out of my mind.

Can a damaged knee muscle cause pain elseswhere in the leg? Does anyone have any ezpereince of this??

I'm sure it can because you will be walking funny to take pressure off the sore muscle, making other muscles sore in the process! I believe a DVT is very obvious and if a GP has checked you out, Im sure it's fine. i'm a total worry wort too, though, who has started my own thread this morning about sore glands, so you're not alone!

Thankyo for your reply.
I have terrible paranoia over my health. Afraid I will die and not see my daughter grow up. It taken over my life and now I'm trying to fight back.

Im very young (22) so a DVT never crosses a doctors mind, just can't take my mind off this cf pain. So annoying!

I mean it does make sense, I have had a dodgy Knee for a while, and I have tender points at the aide of knee. The calf thigh pain is very on an off and I'm sure if it was a DVT it wouldn't dot l over the place. Yet I'm still a paranoid mess!

yes a dodgy knee will cause pain up and down your leg. bruises can cause all sorts of pain as the bruise needs to grow out which can take a while.

Thankyou. The muscules around my knee feel very tight and like I said I'm a massive hypochondriac so jump to the most serious thing.
