I have had some back pain for a couple of weeks now, but it has become more severe.

Also, my period is late, with spotting of brown blood.

Any thoughts?

Could it be a miscarriage?

Thanks for reply - I hope not.

I am wondering if it is just coincidence: a bout of sciatic pain at the same time as an irregular period.
