just read a few threads where people have reccommnded Elena Schalburg's creams for eczema.... dd is now 8 months and had quite horrible eczema when 2 - 4 months, given hydrocortizone and has worked but i don't want to keep using it and would prefer to use something a little less steroidy!

has her stuff worked for you?

thanks

Her number is 05892 783753. I have used her creams for a month now, the soap, day cream, night cream and bath / body oil (it was the starter pack) and they have worked wonders. I would highly recommend.

Sorry, can someone tell me the number for Elena Schalburg and the web address, I can see 2 numbers here so am getting confused (easily done!!!!!). I have a friend whose daughter suffers quite badly so would like to suggest she try. Can I just ask as well, is the product expensive? Thanks a million.

Just found the website on the other thread so can see prices, etc. Still confused on the telephone number though if anyone can help.
Ta.

Those of you who were trying - can you report back?
Seems like we've got some eczema threads going again !

Tati · 05/08/2002 11:03

From reading lots about eczema on this site I have come across the Elen Schalburg creams, recommended by many of you. Do they make a difference? I am at the end of my tether!

Tissy · 05/08/2002 11:16

Tati- see my post on the other thread

pupuce · 05/08/2002 14:50

Tati-you can always call Elena... she is very friendly and helpful... she doesn't push her products (I felt) and she has a lot of experience with baby eczema. She is basically an ex-burnt unit nurse who lives in East Sussex .... she isn't a big company ! I have sen her lab (I live 15 minutes away in kent) so I know that she is a small business...
As you will have seen I have used her creams and found them fab and everyone I have recommended them too found they made a BIG difference.
I spent 30 GBP myself and I still have some.

I thought I'd revive this thread as I have just recommended Elena's products to a mum of a 6 weeks old who was having eczema all over her face... 3 days later it was a new baby and 5 days later her skin was completely smooth !

I found the products fab 3 years ago when I used it but hadn't seen it since.... well I am still really impressed.

Hi I used Elena's on my daughter...which worked well for awhile..but it appears that she is was so sensitive to everything that I had to stop...I have lots of pots still left, unused so if someone would like to buy them from me please let me know...

My dd had a tiny bit of exema on the back of her leg and I used organic babies.com baby slave. And it cleared up and when it comes back from time to time I shove a bit on and it goes away within 24 hours...now it could be this (I don't know), but I get psorasis on the back of my knees and it does seem to help me. AND to smells lovely - really lavendery. they also do stuff to go in the bath and I think its cheeper than Elena Schalburgs.
