abnormal smear, lletz

I had an abnormal smear two months ago, had a colposcopy and biopsy afterwards which revealed precancerous cells, which have just been removed by lletz treatment under general anaesthetic

Felt very good straight after the ga, but a couple of days later and I'm wiped out and in some pain...not dreadful pain but a nagging dull ache (bit like period pain) which is to be expected

Feeling very blue, single parent, no family around. I guess I just need some hand holding!

it was quite extensive, had to have a fair bit done and I'd already fainted & thrown up when I had the colposcopy dine so the gynae said I wouldn't be able to cope with the treatment under local. (probably right, I was a total wreck beforehand)

just got the one daughter and she's a teenager now, she's been fab and looked after me, so the practical stuff isn't the issue so much, guess its the emotional. I'm in my mid 40s and already feeling over the hill / left in the shelf/ etc and had a lot to cope with this year already, just not much left to deal with this really :(
