I've had white areas on my cornea (on the outside of the coloured area) for years. More recently the optician showed more concern and has said it's corneal neovasularization - growth of extra blood vessels in the eye due to contact lense overwear. Until recently i wore contacts nealry eveyr day, but have reduced weat considerably i the last year or so, wearing glasses about 7o-80% of the time. The more i read about this condition the more worried I;m getting that I'll end up going blind.

Has anyone else been diagnosed with this or does anyone know more about the condition?
